Anonymous asked: I consider myself a portrait/fashion photographer in training. So far I only have my kit lens and a fixed 50mm f/1.8 lens. What would you consider investing in as far as lenses, and/or what would you primarily recommend for shooting basic portraiture with? I'm ready to get serious equipment wise.
sigma’s 50mm f/1.4 or 85mm f/1.4 for the best / most affordable portrait lenses (especially for a cropped sensor DSLR).
